Round 4 of the Guinness PRO14 brings with it some tantalising match-ups, starting on Friday night when Munster host the Ospreys and Ulster welcome Cardiff Blues. After a week off, the teams return with batteries recharged, and in some cases World Cup stars returned. With that in mind, here are five of the biggest questions going into the week. How big an impact will returning World Cup stars have? Let’s start with the World Cup players. Richard Cockerill hinted that the likes of Blair Kinghorn and Magnus Bradbury could be back this weekend to face the Scarlets, and they will not the be the only internationals to feature this weekend. Benetton’s Azzurri contingent, as well as Tonga’s Nasi Manu, were back in training this week and could feature against the Isuzu Southern Kings, while the Irish provinces will welcome back their Test stars too. In fact it is only the Welsh who are currently deprived of their key men, and while we will not see them all this week, it will be interesting to see which coaches turn to their internationals on their return from Japan. For the likes of Benetton and Glasgow Warriors, those players have been sorely missed and could be the spark plug to get their seasons up and running. Can the Toyota Cheetahs take their home form onto the road? With 151 points in three games, the Toyota Cheetahs have looked unstoppable this season, even more so when you consider those three wins have come against former champions. And yet, big scores in Bloemfontein are nothing new, even if this year they are taking it to new heights. The bigger test of the Cheetahs, and new coach Hawies Fourie, will be how they get on away from South Africa. They get a stern test this weekend from Connacht, who have won two in a row since losing their opener to the Scarlets. Connacht have won three of their four previous meetings with the Cheetahs, who have never won in Ireland. If they are to establish themselves as genuine title contenders, that will have to change. Why not this weekend in Galway? Is this the week Benetton get their season back on track? Benetton were the fairytale story of last season, but are still searching for a first win through three rounds. That is a little misleading, considering they managed bonus points against both Leinster and the Ospreys despite red cards in both games.
