The Guinness PRO14 got back into full swing at the weekend with a full compliment of action and, as always, there was no shortage of moments to take your breath away.

Conference A leaders Glasgow Warriors were held to a dramatic 15-15 draw by the Dragons while in Conference B, Edinburgh Rugby inflicted a 29-24 defeat on leaders Leinster.

With all 14 teams playing, there were a raft of thrilling tries across the board and we’ve picked out the five best from Round 14.

Jared Rosser – Dragons v Glasgow

All the scoring took place in the first half as the Dragons put the brakes on Glasgow and the final score of the game saw Jared Rosser go over with half-time looming.

This stirring score was inspired by Hallam Amos, who embarked on a blazing run downfield before chipping the ball forward, allowing young wing Rosser to take the ball on the bounce before dotting down.

Craig Gilroy – Ulster v Southern Kings

Craig Gilroy stole the show as Ulster humbled the Southern Kings, with the superb team move that led to his hat-trick try topping the bill.

Johnny McPhillips got Ulster motoring with a storming run and he offloaded to Stuart McCloskey, who then fed John Cooney.

Scrum-half Cooney then spotted Gilroy charging down the right flank and despite the attentions of Luzuko Vulindlu and Harlon Klaasen, the winger managed to slide over the line.

Rob Lyttle – Ulster v Southern Kings

Gilroy may have helped himself to three tries but he wasn’t the only Ulster wing to show off an impressive turn of pace.

Midway through the second period, the hosts turned over possession deep in their own half and Rob Lyttle found himself with the ball in hand and acres of space to run into.

There was still plenty of work to do for the 21-year-old but he charged downfield before evading a despairing challenge to run in his second try of the game.

Harlon Klassen – Southern Kings v Ulster

Kingspan really was the place for astonishing scores in Round 14 and with less than 10 minutes to go, the Kings went over in spectacular style.

A mesmerising team move saw the visitors weave a path upfield and catch out the Ulstermen, Masixole Banda feeding replacement Klaasen for a consolation score.

Monty Ioane – Benetton Rugby v Scarlets

In Treviso, Monty Ioane helped Benetton Rugby defeat the Scarlets, the reigning Guinness PRO14 champions, with a show-stopping hat-trick.

Having already gone over twice, the Kiwi full-back moved like a steam train to add the gloss to a superb Benetton break.

After fine work from Marty Banks and Luca Morisi, Ioane took up possession and showed the Scarlets a clean set of heels to raise the roof at the Stadio Monigo.
