**The Guinness Six Nations kicked off at the weekend, with Scotland and Wales picking up big wins in their opening matches.** \n\nMore than 100 Guinness PRO14 players have joined up with their national teams for the championship and plenty were in action in Round One. \n\nHere, we pick out some of the PRO14 stars who stood out. \n\n**Hamish Watson (Scotland & Edinburgh)** \n\nScotland claimed an historic 11-6 victory over England – their first at Twickenham since 1983 – and Edinburgh flanker Watson’s display typified the performance of Gregor Townsend’s men. Watson gained 52 metres with his 13 carries and made 11 tackles in a tremendous physical display. It was his turnover that put an end to the contest and there were few more deserving of the honour of wrapping up a momentous victory on the day.
