**Callum Braley provides an honest assessment when asked about his season at Benetton and while it has not been an ideal first year, the scrum-half has plenty to be excited about.** The Italy international recently welcomed a new addition into the family in baby Blossom and despite coronavirus restrictions and quarantine rules, the 27-year-old was able to attend the birth back in England thanks to the help and support of his club. It was "massively" appreciated by the former Gloucester player, who will have the chance to do more than only change nappies over the next couple of months with the inaugural Rainbow Cup set to get under way at the end of April. Six matches in the newly-created tournament have offered Benetton the opportunity to put a difficult Guinness PRO14 campaign behind them and focus on building momentum ahead of next season. Bristol-born Braley, in particular, cannot wait and said: "I am looking forward to playing rugby in the sun! "It's probably quite a nice time for us as a group to start a fresh competition and we can really narrow our focus. "We have new teams and a new name for the tournament so hopefully we can kick-start our season and get some good results. We're all excited to get into it." Four South African clubs will be part of the Rainbow Cup and Benetton will host one while they will also get the chance to reclaim bragging rights from fellow Italians Zebre with two fixtures pencilled in against their rivals.
