**There are not many similarities between golf and rugby but Zebre lock Mick Kearney has used the knowledge of brother and fellow professional sportsman Niall Kearney in his own craft during the past decade.** While his older sibling and parents are all more likely to be spotted with clubs in their hand and on a par three, the 30-year-old from Dublin has always favoured the oval-shaped ball. Since his professional debut in 2011, Kearney has featured in key Guinness Pro14 clashes, Heineken European Cup ties and in numerous bitter Italian derby games and his brother's mindset has been a big help. The former Leinster forward said: "Myself and Niall are the only ones who are doing sport for a job but mam and dad are mad into golf and cousins and uncles are mad into it as well. "Niall has been flat out at that for close to 15 years now and it has been great to have him there. "He is in an individual sport, but his mentality over how he prepares has been invaluable for me from a rugby point of view."
