Unsurprisingly, Munster have a healthy contingent of representatives in this week’s top performers – Tadhg Beirne and Keith Earls starring while Chris Cloete led the way with 10 points after their 26-17 win over Leinster ensured they remained unbeaten at Thomond Park throughout 2018.

In the other all-Irish matchup of the weekend, the impressive Connacht got the better of Ulster, with Caolin Blade and Bundee Aki featuring among the backs for their efforts, while Jordi Murphy’s score meant that he was the Ulstermen’s sole representative in this week’s best XV.

Elsewhere in the pack, two of Benetton Rugby’s number make the grade after their second consecutive win over Zebre.

Luca Bigi won 12-points at hooker, but the star of the show – and the weekend’s top points scorer – was Federico Ruzza, who notched a standout 16.

Over in Wales, a big win for Dragons over fierce rivals Ospreys saw Elliot Dee and Jared Rosser put in standout displays, with the latter showing jet-heeled pace to get the hosts on the board at Rodney Parade before Dee grabbed their second after the break.

Completing the forwards are Edinburgh Rugby’s Stuart McInally and Ospreys’ Justin Tipuric – who once again justified his position as the game’s top-picked player with another 11-points to add to his imperious tally.

In the backs, Gareth Anscombe sent out a come-and-get-me plea to Fantasy Rugby managers across the lands as he earned 15-points in Cardiff Blues’ 34-5 win at Scarlets, while two-try Ray Lee-Lo claimed 14, slotting him in alongside Aki in the midfield to complete Round 12’s XV.
