Round 14 of the Guinness PRO14 was a tight affair pretty much across the board, with a host of sides playing out nail-biting clashes that went down to the wire.

One rare exception to the rule however, came in Bloemfontein, where Toyota Cheetahs put Zebre to the sword with some scintillating attacking rugby.

But which players earned the most Guinness PRO14 Fantasy Rugby points over the weekend? Here’s a look back at the top performers last time out.

Tian Schoeman – 15 points (Toyota Cheetahs)

Fly-half Schoeman led the Cheetahs charge at the Toyota Stadium, kicking eight conversions and setting up a try in a 61-28 win.

Indeed, his is haul of 15 fantasy points was the joint-highest in Round 14 and came off the back of five-point showing the previous weekend.

With Cheetahs at home to South African rivals Isuzu Southern Kings next time around and Schoeman in strong form, the 27-year-old will no doubt feature on many fantasy managers’ radars this week.

Ox Nche – 15 points (Toyota Cheetahs)

Schoeman was joined at the top of the Round 14 fantasy standings by Cheetahs teammate Nche, who delivered a man-of-the-Match performance in Bloemfontein.

The combative loosehead showed his prowess both at the set-piece and in the loose against Zebre before powering over for 46th-minute score to delight fantasy managers who had selected him in their teams.

Like Schoeman, Nche has the chance to continue his dominant form against Kings in the only clash of the weekend –but will he make it into your side?

Kieran Hardy – 14 points (Scarlets)

One of the other fantasy displays of the weekend came in Dublin, where Scarlets scrum-half Hardy managed two tries despite featuring in a losing cause against Leinster.

The 23-year-old bagged his first try just after the break as he took advantage of some brilliant interplay to dart over – and his second effort was a near carbon copy that again showcased his searing speed and smart support running.

Currently selected by fewer than 1 per cent of fantasy managers, Hardy’s 14 points in Leinster see him function as a decent differential option for those wanting to steal a march on their opponents.
