**Having missed out on selection at the business end of last season, young back-row star Caelan Doris is determined to play a key role this time round as Leinster bid to secure an historic third successive Guinness PRO14 title.** The 22-year-old – born in Ballina, co. Mayo – burst on to the first-team scene in 2018/19, making 15 appearances in all competitions as Leo Cullen’s men charged to the domestic and European showpieces. Despite being constrained to the sidelines for the Irishmen’s three biggest games of the season – from which Leinster emerged as PRO14 champions and Champions Cup runners-up – Doris has gone from strength to strength in the current campaign, scoring one try in nine games so far and making his international bow during the Guinness Six Nations.
