A sold out Thomond Park and the age old rivalry of Munster versus Leinster – some tries are made by the stage on which they are scored. Step forward Jordan Larmour, who after much deliberation has been chosen as the scorer of our Guinness PRO14 Try of the Decade. Last-minute finishes, Final winners and glorious team moves all have been considered but none quite matched the impact of Larmour’s stunner in Limerick in December 2017. 26,267 were packed into Thomond Park that St Stephen’s Day, where Munster had been undefeated since the prior February, with Leinster leading 27-5 at the interval. Try of the Decade 🏉@leinsterrugby's Jordan Larmour vs @Munsterrugby 👏Do you agree? 👀 pic.twitter.com/L5vBBdK0HF— PRO14 RUGBY (@PRO14Official) December 31, 2019 Ian Keatley and Andrew Conway (2) led the fightback and Munster got within touching distance, until the young full-back turned all that Red Army momentum on its head in solo style. Which was the best step? Probably the third to sucker in Keatley and this bolt from the blue is a worthy winner of best try in ten years of top-class rugby. Larmour is just 22 and you wouldn’t bet against him scoring many more of these.
