**Dave Rennie believes the power of youth can propel Glasgow Warriors to glory in the Danny Wilson era.** The New Zealander recently departed his role as Warriors head coach to succeed Michael Cheika as Australia boss, having guided the Scottish side to the Guinness PRO14 Grand Final last season where they succumbed to a 18-15 defeat to Leinster. Wilson will be the man who takes over from Rennie at Scotstoun when rugby returns, leaving his role as Scotland forwards coach to assume control of a squad who sat third in Conference A when the Championship was suspended. And, as he bids farewell to Glasgow and embarks on his maiden international first-team coaching job, Rennie reckons the crop of young players Wilson is inheriting stands the 2019 finalists in positive stead for the future. “There’s a lot of young players coming through,” Rennie, 56, said in his final press conference as Warriors boss. “I think there are some really good young kids who can really put their stamp on the game in the next couple of years, so I’m looking forward to watching that from afar. “We’ve already seen the emergence of some guys like George Horne, Adam Hastings and Scott Cummings, who have all come through quickly and have made massive strides in the last couple of years. “There are also guys like Kyle Steyn, who I think has got a real ability to be an excellent player, while more recently, Sam Johnson has come through, as well as Zander and Matt Fagerson, who are still young men.
