Just in case you’re not a Google Map fan, we have put together a handy guide to direct you to the Guinness PRO14 Final at Celtic Park from within Glasgow’s most populated city. Second only to Murrayfield for stadium capacity in Scotland, Celtic Park seats 60, 355. In Parkhead, in The East End of Glasgow it’s located right next door to the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome and Emirates Arena, home of the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Train The easiest way to arrive at your destination is via the short walk up to the famous arena from Dalmarnock train station. Dalmarnock station is easily and regularly accessible from Glasgow Central station on a short route out to the East of the city. Trains from Glasgow Central leave every 15 minutes, take just 7 minutes duration and cost less than £3. Once out of (the small) Dalmarnock station simply cross the road right in front of you and head straight on up to the massive sporting complex up ahead of you-you can’t miss it! If travelling from Glasgow Queen Street station you can walk for 20 minutes from Bellgrove station, approaching the ground from the opposite side to Dalmarnock. Bus The Nos. 2, 61, 64, 255 and 240 buses go from the city centre towards Tollcross Road and you should get off at the Parkhead Forge Shopping Centre and walk down to Celtic Park, these all cost between £2-4. Taxi Expect taxis from the city centre to cost approximately £10, with Ubers weighing in a couple of pounds cheaper, if travelling outside peak travel times, this journey should take under 10 minutes. Walk If you’re feeling particularly fit or keen for free travel, simply walk for approx. 45 minutes due South East from Glasgow’s centre, through the suburbs of Trongate and Bridgeton, then along the A74 (London Road) until you can see the massive arenas dominating an otherwise residential area. To avoid any last hour before kick-off surge east, be sure to travel early and visit the Fan Zone in the Jock Stein Car Park adjacent to the stadium pre-match, open from 14:00!
