**The first contest of a Boxing Day bonanza of Guinness PRO14 derbies sees Italian rivals Benetton and Zebre square off in Parma with both sides eager for a big result.** \n\nMichael Bradley’s hosts, rooted to the bottom of Conference A with just one win from eight games, are searching for a victory in their biggest game of the season to kickstart their campaign. \n\nBut, it’s fair to say that Kieran Crowley’s men will be chomping at the bit for this contest as they search for their first win of the season – currently bottom of Conference B with three points. \n\n**What’s at stake?** \n\nOn derby day, more than just the result with local bragging rights and pride just as much on the line as the points on offer. \n\nWhile 260 kilometres separate the two sides’ home grounds, these fixtures are always fiercely contested with the chance to become Italy’s top dogs a real carrot for both teams. \n\nBenetton have dominated the head-to-heads, winning 15 of the 20 derbies played in the Championship since the first in 2012, and come into the game in decent form having only narrowly been beaten by Welsh duo Ospreys and Dragons in Rounds 7 and 8. \n\nBut it is one thing to play well and another altogether to secure the victory and Zebre, who have been battling back in recent years in this fixture, did beat Ospreys in Round 4 and came so close to following that up with success over Scarlets too.
