Cardiff Blues head coach Danny Wilson has urged his team to be mentally prepared for a battle in their away game at Benetton Treviso on Saturday. The Blues have won their last four GUINNESS PRO12 fixtures since their 6-13 reversal at Ospreys in November and are looking for a fifth consecutive win in the competition for the first time since 2010. Welsh internationals Cory Allen and Kristian Dacey go straight into the starting line-up after being released from international duty while Italian no.8 Manoa Vosawai features in the back-row as he faces his former team. As Wilson makes three changes from the side that beat Edinburgh, the head coach hopes they can get another win under their belts even though the Blues have already been defeated in Italy this season, losing 15-26 at Zebre in round 6. Wilson said: "We've hit some good form in the GUINNESS PRO12 in recent weeks as we look to move up the table, but we're well aware of the challenge we will face in Italy against a Treviso team who will be fired-up to claim a victory. "We only need to look at our away game at Zebre earlier this season to fully understand that our attitude, preparation and performance must be right if we want to come away with the right result. "It's good to see Cory Allen and Kristian Dacey back in the set-up, after they were released by Wales, and we look forward to seeing them both put in big displays for us in Italy” Treviso are still searching for that first elusive win of the 2015/16 season. In fact their most recent victory was over Cardiff Blues in this equivalent fixture in the GUINNESS PRO12 last year, played on 20 February 2015. The home side welcome back Luca Morisi, Angelo Esposito and Dean Budd who return from their long-term injuries. However, with ten of their players away on international duty with Italy and Roberto Santamaria, Rupert Harden and Cherif Traore all out with injuries, Treviso had to sign Federico Zani and Paolo Buonfiglio from Mogliano. Sporting director Antonio Pavanello said: “We’ve found ourselves in an emergency situation in the front row, due to injuries and international call-ups. That gives us the opportunity to see some potential players for the future up close. They are two quality athletes who cover the positions of prop and hooker. We are grateful to Mogliano for the help.” At Stadio Monigo, 1.30pm local time, (12.30pm UK & Ireland) Live on RAI Sport Referee: Dudley Phillips (IRFU, 57th competition game) Assistant Referees: Filippo Bertelli, Stefano Bolzonella (both FIR) Citing Commissioner: Stefano Marrama (FIR) TMO: Stefano Roscini (FIR) To buy tickets for the GUINNESS PRO12 Grand Final click here.
