Edinburgh coach Michael Bradley is adamant their RaboDirect PRO12 clash against Newport Gwent Dragons is their only priority, despite their looming date with Toulouse. Bradley’s men host the French giants in the Heineken Cup quarter-finals in two weeks, but before then Edinburgh need to address their longest ever winless streak in the RaboDirect PRO12 standing at seven matches. They also have a dismal record against Welsh opposition losing all five of their encounters against teams from the Principality. Bradley makes four changes in the backline, with young fly-half Harry Leonard, winger Tom Brown and centres Matt Scott and Dougie Fife. And Bradley is counting on the backing of the home support at Murrayfield, where they have won just once in 2012, to get them back to winning ways. “It’s been over a month since our last match at Murrayfield and we’re looking forward to returning home to play in front of our home support,” he said. “Our fans have been tremendous this season, smashing Scottish club rugby cup and league attendance records in successive months and we need their backing more than ever at this crucial time, while we’ll also seek to reward that incredible support. “We must raise our efforts to achieve a much-needed victory. “At no point have we lost sight of the importance of this weekend’s game as an opportunity to address our position in the RaboDirect PRO12. “Naturally there are other elements at stake – the chance to rally support or gain winning momentum – however this week there is just one single objective, the rest will take care of itself.” The Dragons won last time out on the road – 10-9 at Aironi – and another win would make it back-to-back victories on the road for the first time since 2006. While Toby Faletau and Dan Lydiate are given well-earned rests following their part in Wales’ Six Nations triumph, lock Luke Charteris does return as one of seven changes made by Darren Edwards. There’s a new half-back pairing in Joe Bedford and Steffan Jones, and Charteris who is desperate to make the most of the season run-in. He said: “There's five games left for the Dragons and I'm looking forward to enjoying those. "I have had ten years here and it's massively important to me that I go out on a high. "I will be going out there and giving it everything I can because I want to finish with some good memories and enjoyable victories. "A strong end to the season would be brilliant; last year we finished strongly and there was a good feeling as you headed off on holiday and a buzz in pre-season. "It hasn't quite worked out as we would have liked this year but good results and performances from now until May would make the horrible pre-season and sand dunes a little easier to take.” Referee: John Lacey (IRFU, 19th competition game) Assistant Referees: AndrewMcMenemy, Iain Bruce (both SRU) Citing Commissioner: Ian Goodall (SRU)
