Winless Zebre will be hoping to spark their ²⁰¹⁹⁄₂₀ Guinness PRO14 season into life with a victory over Glasgow Warriors.

Despite a defiant performance against Leinster and a strong showing in defeat to Ulster, Zebre still remain bottom of the pile in Conference A.

Glasgow have had an inconsistent start to the season with just two victories to their name but one of those was a dominant 50-0 win over Isuzu Southern Kings in Round 5.

Four more members of Scotland’s Rugby World Cup squad return to the Glasgow side this weekend, as Dave Rennie names eight changes to the starting XV.

Ryan Wilson will captain the side for the first time this season, Fraser Brown comes in at hooker while Scott Cummings returns to the second-row and Tommy Seymour starts at full-back.

Zebre have made nine changes for the contest which sees Italian internationals Johan Meyer and David Sisi return in the back row and there will be a completely new front three with Alexandru Tarus, Luca Bigi and Andrea Lovotti all in the side.

Players to watch out for: Mattia Bellini (Zebre), Adam Hastings (Glasgow)

Against Ulster, Mattia Bellini got off the mark quickly for Zebre, dotting down from close range in the second minute.

Despite going on to lose the game, Bellini has been a bright light for the Parma side this season with his pace on the wing.

Fly-half Adam Hastings put in a solid performance against the Southern Kings in Round 5 kicking four conversions in the convincing win.

The Scotland international will be hoping to pull the strings against Zebre, who are still without a win this campaign.

Key stat: Zebre haven’t won a game in the Guinness PRO14 since 26 October 2018 when they beat Edinburgh Rugby.
