Five wins from five has not been enough to satisfy Wayne Pivac and the head coach has rung the changes as Scarlets prepare to take on Welsh rivals Newport Gwent Dragons on Friday. Hadleigh Parkes is set to join Regan King at centre, as Gareth Owen misses out with a hamstring strain. King’s son Jacob Cowley, 18, has been named among the replacements and they could become the first father-son combination to appear in a GUINNESS PRO12 match. Wing Harry Robinson is back in action for the first time following neck surgery in May, while Tom Williams starts too and Lewis Rawlins has been shifted into the second row. And though Scarlets find themselves at the top of the table boasting the only remaining 100 per cent record, Pivac says they are not sitting comfortably. “We haven't put a complete performance together but it is very pleasing to be five from five and at the top of the table,” he said. “We’re looking at this as a week-by-week process and not getting ahead of ourselves. “We have to keep chipping away at these opponents and our biggest game of the season now is Dragons and that’s the way we’re approaching it. “Dragons like to try a few things, have some things up their sleeves and have already scored some good tries this season. We will need to be on our game to ensure we get that all-important victory. “We’re all rolling our sleeves up and I think that you’re seeing that the team is slowly evolving and long may it continue.” Lynn Jones has also opted to shuffle his pack and has Wales No8 Taulupe Faletau to call upon for the first time since Wales’ involvement in the Rugby World Cup came to an end. The 24-year-old comes into the team alongside Jason Tovey, who switches from fly-half to full-back with Dorian Jones to wear No10. Charlie Davies has been named at scrum-half and Matthew Screech partners captain Rynard Landman in the second row. Ed Jackson moves to flanker alongside Nic Cudd as Dragons seeks victory over Scarlets for only the second time in 15 encounters and their first at Parc y Scarlets. And former Scarlet Cudd said: “We need to be a bit more patient with the ball. “We did some good starter plays against Treviso last week, but lost the ball in contact and pushed a few passes. We need to go through one or two more phases for things to open up. “The Scarlets have had an excellent start to the season and have won every game so we know we will have to be at our best to get the result.” At Parc y Scarlets, 6pm.
