Dave Rennie received a welcome boost ahead of his Glasgow Warriors side’s crunch Guinness PRO14 clash against the Isuzu Southern Kings, with the return of six international stars from Rugby World Cup action.

Canadian flyer DTH van der Merwe slots straight back in as the Warriors search for their second win of the season and with it a foothold in the Conference A standings.

He is joined by a quintet of Scotland internationals, with Pete Horne, Adam Hastings, George Horne and Zander Fagerson all catapulted straight into the starting XV and George Turner making the bench.

For the Kings, Robbi Kempson has elected for just the one change from the side that was edged out by Benetton Rugby last weekend.

Thembelani Bholi comes in at flanker after impressing as a replacement in Italy, with Bobby de Wee moving to lock, replacing JC Astle.
