Leinster left it late to secure the bonus point win which keeps them in the Magners League title hunt. With the victory against Borders at Donnybrook, Leinster returned to the top of the Magners League table. Leinster came out strong from the start and put 14 points on the board unanswered in as many minutes. After the restart Leinster looked like a side on a mission and soon Jamie Heaslip crossed the line to become joint top scorer in the league. This win increased Leinster’s home win record to 15 straight games and keeps them in the battle for the top spot in the Magners League title race.
