The fall-out from a fascinating opening weekend of Guinness PRO14 action continues.

Here’s everything you might have missed from the last 24 hours.

The Isuzu Southern Kings should really have finished the job in beating the Cardiff Blues in round 1.

In the end, they allowed the Welsh region to escape with a narrow win.

But Kings skipper JC Astle, talking to the Herald in South Africa, insists his side will be no pushovers this season.

Over in Bloemfontein however, the Toyota Cheetahs fired a real warning shot to the league with their fantastic win over Glasgow Warriors.
