**The Guinness PRO14 returned with a bang at the weekend as one season seamlessly flowed into the next with fresh optimism and energy abundant across the board.** The opening round of the 2020/21 season saw impressive victories for Ospreys, Connacht and Munster while Ulster and Cardiff Blues returned wins from their contests with Italian opponents and Leinster picked up where they left off. Staying in Scotland and there was further disappointment for the Scottish sides this weekend with **Glasgow Warriors** coming out on the losing end of a titanic battle with **Connacht** 28-24.
