**Preparations are beginning to ramp up for the return of the Guinness PRO14 and we start today’s Media Watch with some very good news for Glasgow Warriors supporters.** Scotland hooker George Turner has [signed a two-year contract to extend his stay at the club](http://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/sport/rugby/1391285/scotland-hooker-george-turner-signs-on-for-two-more-years-with-glasgow/), having scored nine tries in 46 appearances since joining from Edinburgh in 2017. New Warriors head coach Danny Wilson described the 27-year-old, who has won nine Scotland caps and was part of Scotland’s 2019 World Cup squad, as “exciting and dynamic”. Over in Wales, British & Irish Lions and Dragons hooker Richard Hibbard believes the break he has had from the game due to lockdown could [prolong his career by another two years](http://www.wru.wales/2020/06/hibbard-missing-the-heat-of-the-battle/). But while Hibbard has been able to give his body a welcome rest over the past couple of months, he is relishing a return to action when the Guinness PRO14 returns in August. Hibbard is not alone in being excited about the return of the Championship, with John Mulvihill [telling the Welsh Rugby Union](http://www.wru.wales/2020/06/mulvihill-positive-over-jenkins/) he can’t wait to reassemble his side for the first time. One of those who will be back in action for Mulvihill is Blues captain Ellis Jenkins, who was one of nine players on a lengthy injury list when the game went into lockdown. “Structurally, Ellis has had the word his knee is fine. He just needs to get back to training with the group before he starts playing again,” said Mulvihill.
