After announcing the signing of South African scrumhalf, Shaun Venter, earlier this week, Ospreys have announced another crucial signing. The 6ft 6in, 19 stone lock Ben Glynn will join the squad from Gallagher Premiership side, Harlequins. Ben Glynn played for England U18s and made 99 appearances for Bristol At 6ft 6in and 19st, Glynn is an imposing figure, and will bolster an injury hit second row at the Ospreys The former Harlequin is capable of playing in both the second and back row With second row trio Alun Wyn Jones, Adam Beard, and Bradley Davies on international duty, the squad suffered another blow against Ulster when James King went down injured, on top of Will Griffiths picking up an injury during the week. The 28-year old’s timely arrival will add much needed cover in a position that needs bolstering.
