As Leinster and Glasgow Warriors prepare to do battle for the first time since the final, it seems a fitting time to look back on that memorable occasion at Celtic Park.

Both sides demonstrated the passion and hunger of worthy winners in a tense second period where so much was at stake, and the Warriors lived up to their name to fight to the death, albeit Grant Stewart’s late score proving in vain following Jonny Sexton’s earlier penalty.

As anticipation builds for what is sure to be another spectacle of gladiatorial battles and do-or-die action in the Welsh capital, each Guinness PRO14 team will be fighting for their chance to showcase their capability on the biggest stage.
