Glasgow Warriors have been handed a massive boost ahead of Saturday’s Champions Cup opener against Sale Sharks at Scotstoun, with the news that Fraser Brown has become the latest player to extend his stay at the club. The Scotland international hooker has put pen to paper on a new deal that will keep him at Scotstoun until the summer of 2023. Matt Fagerson, Oli Kebble and Stafford McDowall have already penned new deals with the club this season. Brown, who has 46 caps for his country, can also operate in the back row. The 30-year-old made his debut for the club against Zebre back in February 2013 and has gone on to make 91 appearances for the club. His new three-year contract will take him into his tenth year with the Warriors. Delighted to be staying at @glasgowwarriors for another 3 years. Very humbled by all of your kind messages yesterday.7 years, hardly changed...😳 #seniorcitizen #warriornation pic.twitter.com/X471eKKBSr— fraser brown (@fraserjmbrown) 14 November 2019
