The Irish trio of Munster, Ulster and Leinster will look to complete the double over English opposition, while Glasgow Warriors are aiming to do the same against La Rochelle. It took an almighty fightback for Dan McFarland’s team to win the home game, sneaking through 25-24 in their second one-point win in three matches. With free-scoring Clermont just a point behind them in the pool, and a trip to the Massif Central still to come, this game is huge for Ulster’s quarter-final hopes. They will take plenty of heart from their recent record against Quins, with four wins in a row against the Premiership side, while in Marcell Coetzee they have the second highest carrier of the competition (only CJ Stander has made more). If they can add a second win in England this season, Ulster will be in prime position to return to the quarter-finals for the second year running.
