Leinster ran in seven tries in posting a 45-20 success over Bath at the Aviva Stadium and Connacht opened up with a richly-deserved 36-9 bonus-point win over Stade Francais at the Sportsground in Galway. Cardiff produced a battling display despite their ravaged playing resources in going down to a 39-7 defeat against European champions Toulouse at the Arms Park.
