**Leinster head coach Leo Cullen hopes his younger players can learn from the disappointment of missing out on a place in the Heineken Champions Cup final.** \n\nThe Irish province went down 32-23 to a strong La Rochelle outfit at the Stade Marcel-Deflandre having led 13-12 at the break. \n\nThe defeat halted the province’s pursuit of a record fifth title in the competition – a feat which could now be achieved by Toulouse, who will be La Rochelle’s opponents in the Twickenham final. \n\nDespite conceding his players had been left “distraught” by the result, Cullen hoped it could make Leinster’s youngsters even more hungry to achieve success in the future. \n\n“If you look at the profile of our group, they're still a pretty young group of players,” he told the province's media channels. “Hopefully they'll be better for the experience.
