Saturday is getting close, and as well as enjoying the game, here are some very important points to note ahead of your trip to Celtic Park for the Guinness PRO14 Final 2019.

Allowing plenty of time to get to the venue will be of utmost importance as Glasgow city is sure to be busy. There are many public transport options available and there has also been a park’n’ride service set up just for the Final. Aside from making your way to Celtic Park, please also consider the bag policy at the stadium, which is in place to ensure everybody’s safety.

Shuttle buses from BT Murrayfield to the Emirates Arena

BT Murrayfield will operate as a park’n’ride location for the day, with buses departing the stadium at 4 pm and arriving at Celtic Park at approximately 5.15pm, in plenty time for supporters to head to the Fan Zone and enjoy some food, drink and live music before the match kicks off at 6.30pm. After the game, you’ll have an opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere and have something to eat and drink before heading back to BT Murrayfield – the last bus leaves at 9.30pm.

Trains from Queen Street Station

Buses from Glasgow City Centre

From Glasgow City Centre, the Nos. 2, 61, 64, 255 and 240 buses go to Tollcross Road and you would get off at the Parkhead Forge Shopping Centre and walk down to Celtic Park. Walking to Celtic Park

Celtic Park is accessible on foot from Glasgow City Centre, via either London Road or the Gallowgate.

Please be aware that after the Guinness PRO14 Final and due to a potential Scottish Cup Final parade, the East End is likely to be much busier than usual so please plan your return journey ahead of time.

Bag Policy

To maximise security and ensure efficient and speedy entry into the stadium we advise spectators not to bring bags to the final. Any bags larger than A5 size (width 21cm, height 15cm, depth 8cm) WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. The only exceptions to this rule will be spectators who require larger bags for childcare or medical purposes or tagged merchandise bags that are clear (transparent) and which have been obtained from official merchandise outlets.

There will be designated (and clearly marked) turnstiles at each of the stands for medical or childcare bags. At the designated turnstiles, bags will be thoroughly searched and tagged before being allowed inside.

This policy, whilst possibly causing a little inconvenience to spectators is nevertheless needed to make sure that everyone in the stadium is safe and secure.
